Solid Tungsten Carbide Rods — Ground & Unground
Round carbide rod is the starting material for most solid carbide cutting tools. Tool grinders buy it by diameter, length, tolerance and grade — and expect every rod in a batch to behave the same.

Choosing the grade
For cutting tools, grade choice follows the workpiece: finer-grained grades for hardened steel and high edge strength, general grades for steel and cast iron, and grades suited to non-ferrous materials. Tell us what your customers cut.
