Wear Parts & Components

Where steel and ceramics wear out, tungsten carbide keeps its shape. Most wear parts are made to the customer's drawing, so the grade, tolerances and surface finish are chosen for your operating conditions — abrasion, corrosion, impact and temperature.

Seal Rings & Seal Faces Custom tungsten carbide seal rings and mechanical seal faces for pumps, mixers and compressors. Cobalt- or nickel-bonded grades, lapped to your flatness spec. Bushings & Sleeves Tungsten carbide bushings, shaft sleeves and bearings for pumps, downhole tools and slurry equipment, ground to your drawing. Nozzles Tungsten carbide nozzles for spraying, sandblasting and PDC drill bits, made to your drawing or matched to an existing part. Valve Seats, Balls & Trim Tungsten carbide valve balls and seats, choke beans, stems and trim components for oil and gas, pumps and severe-service valves. Wear Plates, Strips & Liners Tungsten carbide wear plates, strips, tiles and liners for chutes, mixers, cutting and guiding in abrasive processes.

Rods, Plates & Blanks

Semi-finished carbide for tool grinders and machine shops: round rods for end mills and drills, rods with helical or straight coolant holes, and plates, strips and preforms for cutting, forming and wear applications.

Solid Carbide Rods Solid tungsten carbide rods, h6 ground or unground, for end mills, drills, reamers and punches. Grade options for steel, stainless, cast iron and non-ferrous machining. Rods with Coolant Holes Tungsten carbide rods with one or two straight or helical coolant holes for drills and through-coolant cutting tools. Plates, Strips & Preforms Tungsten carbide plates, flat strips and near-net preformed blanks for cutting tools, knives, dies and wear parts.

Mining & Construction

Inserts for rock drilling and ground-engaging tools, where toughness under impact matters as much as wear resistance. Shapes, sizes and grades are matched to the rock and the drilling method.

Button Inserts Tungsten carbide button inserts — spherical, ballistic, conical and chisel — for DTH hammers, top-hammer bits and roller cones. Pick & Cutting Tips Tungsten carbide tips for conical picks, road milling bits, trencher and auger teeth used in mining, tunneling and road construction.

Dies & Tooling Blanks

Carbide for forming tools: drawing die nibs for wire and bar, cold heading and extrusion die blanks for fastener production, and blanks for punches and stamping dies. Grades are chosen for the balance of wear resistance and impact toughness the process needs.

Wire Drawing Die Nibs Tungsten carbide wire drawing die nibs and cased dies for steel, copper and aluminium wire, bar and tube drawing. Cold Heading & Extrusion Dies Tungsten carbide die blanks and inserts for cold heading, cold forging and extrusion of bolts, screws, rivets and nuts. Punch & Stamping Die Blanks Tungsten carbide blanks for punches, stamping dies and progressive die inserts, ground or ready for wire EDM.
