Tungsten Carbide Nozzles — Spray, Sandblast & Drill Bit Nozzles
A nozzle bore that wears open changes the spray pattern, the flow and the pressure. Carbide nozzles hold their bore much longer than steel in abrasive or high-velocity service.

Choosing the grade
Erosion from the flowing medium is the main wear mode, so harder, finer-grained grades are the usual starting point. Threaded nozzles that see installation torque need enough toughness at the thread.
